Accreditation

Through high standards, strong motivation, and effective discipline, Saint Joseph Regional School guarantees an exceptional education in an environment of loving kindness. Students of St. Joseph Regional School perform above the national averages on standardized tests. Our faculty and curricula are in a continuous process of evaluation, certification, and accreditation. Teachers are required to meet the 100 hours of professional development mandated by the State of New Jersey, and as Catholic educators also receive an additional 56 hours of professional development in the field of Religion.

St. Joseph Regional School is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges and is approved and monitored by the School Office of the Diocese of Paterson. St. Joseph Regional School serves children in Morris, Warren, and Sussex Counties as well as students from nearby Pennsylvania and New York by providing an authentic Catholic education from kindergarten to eighth grade. Curriculum

All Catholic Schools engage in an ongoing process of evaluation, certification, and accreditation of both teachers and programs. Their accountability guarantees the maintenance of Catholic School’s traditionally high standards.

Catholic School faculty members are fully certified and qualified professionals committed to bringing out the best in their students as they grow in knowledge, skills, and values.

Association with agencies such as the Middle States Association and the National Catholic Education Association, as well as with Diocesan Education Offices, helps provide programs and instruments for internal and external evaluations on an ongoing basis.

Saint Joseph Regional School follows the Diocese of Paterson curriculum guides which meet all state regulations and guidelines. In addition, diocesan guidelines require a strong religious education curriculum. The school’s curriculum is comprised of religion, Language Arts (Reading, English, Grammar, Spelling, Vocabulary, and Composition), Math, Science, Social Studies, handwriting, Spanish, Art, Music, Physical Education, Library, and Computer Science.
